Film Studies
Why choose film studies at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø?
This minor provides students with substantial interdisciplinary study of the history, aesthetics, and cultures of film. Students will acquire a critical vocabulary for analyzing the art of film and a technical vocabulary for discussing the craft of filmmaking. They will also learn about the history and development of film™s many genres and movements. The interdisciplinary approach brings diverse perspectives to the analysis of film and its role in our culture.
