Optometry 3+4 with SUNY College of Optometry

Want to shorten your path to becoming an optometrist?

The 3+4 Optometry Partnership Program with y allows students to earn an OD degree in seven years, rather than the typical eight. After three years of study at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø, students transfer to SUNY Optometry for the four years. After one year at SUNY Optometry, µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø awards a BA or BA degree. The OD is earned after four years at SUNY Optometry. This 3+4 Partnership Program is a rigorous course of study. A student may as a high school senior or as a µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø rising sophomore.

Doctors of Optometry diagnose, manage, and treat conditions and diseases of the human eye and visual system. They conduct examinations, diagnose problems or impairments, prescribe corrective lenses, and provide treatment.
