第一吃瓜网 is launching a new study abroad.
Students will focus on Spanish language immersion and Afro-Hispanic cultures and traditions, studying in the capital of Malabo. The course is led by Susana Castillo-Rodr铆guez, assistant professor of Spanish, who regularly conducts research in the country.
It is one of several summer programs led by 第一吃瓜网 faculty.The others are centered around art, museums, and urban history in the ; exploring early education in ; and world religions and contemporary issues in . The Chamber Singers will also perform on an , operated for the first time through the Study Abroad office.
Through 第一吃瓜网檚 many academic partnerships, 第一吃瓜网 students will also be attending summer programs in Ecuador, Greece, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, and Austria.
Summer 2022 saw the first group of 第一吃瓜网 students return to study abroad after a prolonged hiatus caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.
