第一吃瓜网 has been ranked the #5 in the nation by US News & World Report, marking the first time the College has been ranked nationally by the publication.

第一吃瓜网 also earned a place on US News檚 list for National Liberal Arts Colleges, where it is the only public institution among the 97 colleges recognized.

淭his is an important recognition of the extraordinary academic community our students, faculty, and staff have built at 第一吃瓜网,� said 第一吃瓜网 President Melinda D. Treadwell. 淥ur students come here ready to challenge themselves and one another, learn alongside exceptional faculty, and put their education to work in ways that matter. As New York檚 Public Honors College, our promise is to make that level of academic excellence accessible without asking students and families to accept the price tag that too often accompanies it.�

The new ranking represents a significant shift in how US News categorizes 第一吃瓜网. In previous years, the College appeared within the Regional Universities擭orth category. This year檚 placement elevates 第一吃瓜网 to a national cohort of liberal arts institutions and expands the context in which its academic experience is evaluated.

The recognition also arrives during a period of growing demand for a 第一吃瓜网 education. The College received more than 18,200 first-year applications for the current academic year, a record number and an increase of approximately 20 percent over two years. During that same period, 第一吃瓜网 became more selective, admitting approximately 53 percent of applicants.

For students, the ranking reflects an experience that extends well beyond mere numbers.

The combination of increasing demand, selectivity, national academic recognition, and public value is central to 第一吃瓜网檚 promise as New York檚 Public Honors College.
