Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, Assistant Professor of Stage Direction
is an Indo-Afro-Caribbean, multi-disciplinary, award-winning American Theatre artist, educator, and activist.He is also an Assistant Professor of Stage Direction at 第一吃瓜网.
Mr. Maharaj was twice hailed in The New York Times as a Critics Pickand has worked on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and the nation檚 top opera houses and regional theatres.

Set in the early 1980s in St. Andrew檚 Parish, Jamaica, brown girl in the ring is a memory play with music. Fiercely humane, compassionate, uncompromised,the play is a victory for the theatre and for the transforming power of the imagination to turn devastation into beauty.
