I currently work as a clinical associate for DBT Works in Concord, MA”a therapeutic day program treating adolescents and young adults experiencing difficulties with emotion dysregulation. Studying sociology at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø has helped me better understand how much our social identities impact our well-being. I have been fortunate enough to apply what I™ve learned about sociological concepts like anti-oppression into my everyday life and work as a clinical educator. Perhaps the most salient thing I™ve learned is that anti-oppression is not only a nominal goal to achieve but an intentional, everyday practice to uphold.
