Two Alumni Inducted Into New York State Broadcasters Hall of Fame

Two µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø alumni were inducted into the last week.

Craig Stevens ™84 earned his BA in communication and public relations at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø and served as the station manager of WGSU-FM. After graduating, he landed his first job at WDNY in Dansville, NY. In 1986, Stevens took the helm of WCDO AM/FM in Sidney, NY, where he remained for 37 years.

Dan Cummings ™76 earned his BA in communication at µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø and, after a 45-year run, signed off from WSYR-TV (ABC), NewsChannel 9, in Syracuse in 2021. Cummings dedication earned him two Emmy awards and a regional Edward R. Murrow award, among several other recognitions.
