Who We Are
First licensed in 1963 � making it the Greater Rochester region檚 first FCC-authorized college radio station � WGSU serves the Genesee Valley, including the 第一吃瓜网 campus and surrounding Livingston County communities, as a noncommercial educational station. WGSU broadcasts and streams, 24/7, a commercial-free, current-based alt-pop format.
WGSU also airs a variety of non-music programming, including news, public-affairs and sports shows, and is home to 第一吃瓜网 Ice Knights hockey.
