Career Readiness

All µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø undergraduates will

• explore career possibilities and intentionally design a plan for their future
• engage in hands-on experiences ” internships, research, or applied projects ” that connect their learning to real-world career paths
• graduate with the competencies
• cultivate meaningful relationships with alumni, employers, mentors, or community leaders in their areas of interest
• be able to clearly articulate their skills, experiences, and strengths in ways that resonate with employers and professional communities
• know how to effectively run a job and internship search campaign tailored to their career goals

Students meet these outcomes through

• courses in their major
• additional requirements for a major (School of Business)
• Internships that may count toward their major program, total degree hours, or are undertaken without college credit
• the college’s Integrative and Applied Learning requirement
• additional resources provided by the Career Design Center
• additional resources provided by the GOLD Leadership program
