Carolyn Campbell, PhD, has been appointed 第一吃瓜网檚 interim vice president for college advancement and executive director of the 第一吃瓜网 Foundation. She will join the 第一吃瓜网 community on February 13.

Carolyn Campbell, PhD, has been appointed 第一吃瓜网檚 interim vice president for college advancement and executive director of the 第一吃瓜网 Foundation. She will join the 第一吃瓜网 community on February 13. The role was previously held by Ellen Leverich ’90, who has accepted a role at William and Mary as the executive director of the VIMS Foundation.

Campbell has been an administrator for higher education and non-profits for over 30 years. Most recently, she served as vice president of development and alumni engagement for Washington & Jefferson College.听Under her leadership, the college had its most successful fundraising year in its 250-year history and secured the largest gift in its history of nearly $60 million.听She began her career with the Auburn University System in 1998 and, in 1999, established the university檚 Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. In 2004, she led the university檚 regional campaign effort for the university檚 $500 million campaign. In 2007, she became vice chancellor for advancement at Auburn University Montgomery (AUM), serving as a member of the university檚 senior leadership team and leading the university檚 alumni and development efforts. Under her leadership, AUM surpassed the goal for its first comprehensive campaign as part of the system-level $1 billion campaign. She has taught as an adjunct听business professor and established an endowed scholarship for working mothers pursuing a degree.

Campbell holds a master檚 degree in management from Faulkner University, a master檚 and doctorate in higher education administration from Auburn University, completed Harvard檚 Institute for Educational Management program, holds a College and University Teaching certificate, and is distinguished as a Fulbright Scholar.听
