Dallas Comstock

Dallas Comstockis the new assistant men™s basketball coach inIntercollegiate Athletics. His responsibilities include opponentgame planning, recruiting, assisting with practice planning, and skilldevelopment.Prior to joining µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø, he served as the student manager for the University at Buffalo men™s basketball team, and before taking a break from basketball, he was the assistant men™s basketball coach at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas.Comstock holds a bachelor™s degree in communicationfrom the University at Buffalo and is currently working on his master™s in physical education fromCanisius College. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and watching Penn State and Miami Dolphins football.

Kurt Nolan

Kurt Nolanis a new inspector with theUniversity Police Departmentwith responsibility for investigations (background, criminal, and internal), community outreach, training, and serving as liaison to the Livingston County District Attorney™s Office and surrounding law enforcement agencies. Prior to µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø, he served as a police officer with the Saratoga Springs Police Department; deputy sheriff with the Saratoga County Sheriff™s Office; and police officer with the New York State University Police, University at Albany. Nolan holds an AS in criminal justice from Adirondack Community College, a BA in psychology from the University at Albany, and a JD from Albany Law School. In his spare time, he plays semi-pro football for the Glens Falls Greenjackets.

Lauren Trautwein

Lauren Trautwein ™20is the new µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø engagement manager in theOffice of Advancement. She manages the Phonathon students and helps to implement new calling software. Prior to returning to µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø, she worked as a residential advisor at the Brunswick Job Corps Center in Brunswick, Georgia.Trautwein holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø, and her hobbies include playing board games, watching Jeopardy, and baking.

Jolanda Westerhof

Jolanda Westerhofhas been named dean of the Ella Cline ShearSchool of Education. An experienced teacher and professor, she has taught at Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI, and Principia College in Elsah, IL. She also served in leadership roles, including as vice president of Educational Programsat the Veritas Institute in St. Louis and as president at Principia College. Additionally, she was the director of teacher education and served as associate vice president for the Academic Leadership and Change Division at the American Association of State Colleges & Universities (AASCU) in Washington, DC. Westerhof earned a PhD in curriculum and instruction at Indiana University, a master™s in international affairs at Washington University in St. Louis, and a bachelor™s in history and education at Principia College.
