Real World µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø is an experiential learning course held every spring semester. Even though the program™s original namesake, the MTV reality show The Real World, no longer holds a place in the zeitgeist of current µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍø students, its original spirit of examining contemporary issues lives on. Now in its 15th year, the course seeks to build a strong foundation for cultural competency by delving into topics such as race, gender, sexual orientation, power, privilege, and social class. The two-credit course consists of an off-campus retreat, a weekly seminar, and a collaborative civic engagement project.
